About the Guest
Molly Woloszyn is a Regional Drought Information Coordinator with NOAA’s National Integrated Drought Information System (NIDIS), and is the coordinator for the Midwest and Missouri River Basin Drought Early Warning Systems, or DEWS. Molly is located in Champaign, Illinois. As a Regional Drought Information Coordinator, Molly strengthens integrated systems for drought monitoring, forecasting, and planning and preparedness jointly with federal agency partners, tribes, states, municipalities, academic institutions, and other organizations. Before joining NIDIS in Fall 2017, Molly was an extension climate specialist with the University of Illinois. She holds a Masters in Atmospheric Science from Colorado State University and a Bachelors in Meteorology from Northern Illinois University.
